Hayes & Associates (Leigh) Limited is a long established accountancy and taxation practice serving clients throughout Leigh, Wigan, Bolton, Lancashire and the North West region.

Steve Donlan is the Managing Director of the practice, having joined from the local Grammar School in 1972.

Steve, a former professional rugby league footballer, played for Leigh, Wigan, Bradford and Great Britain. He also captained England in 1984.

The practice was established in the 1920’s by Edward Hayes. Edward then introduced his son, John, as a partner in the 1960’s under the trading name E. Hayes & Son. The practice was sold to Stan Jones in 1995 and after Stan’s untimely death in 1999, Hayes & Associates (Leigh) Limited was formed.

John Hayes has continued as a consultant to the practice throughout.

This continuity of the practice’s management ensures that our clients receive that personal touch so often missing in larger organisations. As a smaller practice our clients will always receive a very personal, friendly service and more often than not will be able to contact the same member of our team year after year.
